Returns & Refunds
ATLAS COMPWEAR — RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Introduction
At Atlas Compwear, we take pride in producing high-quality printed clothing, embroidered garments and merchandise.
We want every customer to be satisfied with their purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights when cancelling an order, returning products or requesting a refund.
This policy applies to purchases made through www.atlascompwear.com and, where relevant, orders placed directly with Atlas Compwear.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
2. Contacting Us About a Return
If you wish to cancel an order, report a problem or request a return, please contact:
Atlas Compwear
Email: team@atlascompwear.com
Website: www.atlascompwear.com
Business Correspondence Address: [Insert full business correspondence address]
Please include your order number and a brief explanation of your request.
For faulty or incorrect items, photographs may help us investigate and resolve the matter quickly.
We will provide return instructions and confirm the appropriate return address.
3. Standard Merchandise and Made-to-Order Products
Many Atlas Compwear products are printed or embroidered after an order has been placed.
These may include standard designs sold through our website, such as the Lift for Life merchandise collection.
Standard made-to-order products are not automatically exempt from statutory cancellation rights.
Where a customer purchases a standard product from our advertised range without individual personalisation, the usual consumer cancellation rights generally apply.
This includes standard merchandise produced after purchase using an existing design.
4. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel
For most non-personalised products purchased online, consumers have the right to cancel their order without giving a reason.
You may notify us of your intention to cancel at any point after placing your order and up to 14 days after receiving your goods.
Where an order contains multiple items delivered separately, the cancellation period generally runs from receipt of the final item.
To exercise your right to cancel, email team@atlascompwear.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
You do not need to provide a reason.
You may also use the cancellation form provided at the end of this policy.
5. Returning Products After Cancellation
Once you notify Atlas Compwear that you are cancelling an eligible order, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping proof of postage.
Unless we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the direct return postage costs when returning an item because you have changed your mind.
Please contact us before sending your return so we can confirm the correct return address.
Do not send items to an event venue, charity partner or other organisation unless we have explicitly instructed you to do so.
6. Condition of Returned Products
Customers may inspect and try on garments in the same way they reasonably would in a physical shop.
If an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, and its value has been diminished, we may make a lawful deduction from the refund to reflect that reduction in value.
We recommend returning garments in a clean condition, with original labels and packaging where reasonably possible.
Missing packaging alone does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation rights.
7. Custom and Personalised Products
Some Atlas Compwear products are specifically produced to an individual customer's requirements.
Examples may include garments featuring:
A customer's name or personal initials.
Individually requested wording or artwork.
Unique custom designs supplied by the customer.
Other clearly personalised specifications.
Where a product is genuinely made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply.
We will explain any applicable cancellation restriction before the customer places an order.
Choosing a standard size or purchasing an existing design printed after ordering does not, by itself, make a product personalised.
Customers retain their statutory rights if customised goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
8. Cancelling a Bespoke Order Before Production
If you wish to cancel a bespoke printing or embroidery order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where production has not begun, we will review the status of your order and any costs already incurred.
Where artwork preparation, materials or production work has begun, cancellation arrangements will depend on the agreed contract and applicable law.
Any cancellation charges must be fair, proportionate and legally enforceable.
We will not impose arbitrary or unlawful cancellation penalties.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We aim to ensure that all products are produced and supplied to a high standard.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us.
Examples may include:
Incorrect garment sizes or products supplied.
Significant printing or embroidery defects.
Damaged garments.
Incorrect personalisation caused by an Atlas Compwear production error.
Products that do not reasonably match their agreed specification.
Where goods do not meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to the appropriate statutory remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction.
Where a return is necessary because goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied, Atlas Compwear will cover reasonable return costs as required by law.
We may request photographs or additional information to help assess the issue, but this does not replace or limit your statutory rights.
10. Refund Amounts
For an eligible cancellation of an entire online order under the statutory cancellation right, we will refund:
The purchase price of the returned goods.
The original standard delivery charge, where required by law.
If you selected a delivery service more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional premium.
For example, where an eligible Lift for Life order consists of one £20 T-shirt and £3.95 standard delivery, cancellation of the whole order would normally result in a refund of £23.95, subject to any lawful deduction.
Refund arrangements for partial returns will depend on the order and applicable legal requirements.
11. Refund Processing Times
For eligible statutory cancellations, we will issue refunds without undue delay and within the legal timeframe.
Where goods have already been delivered, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made within 14 days of the relevant event.
Where goods have not been dispatched or do not need to be returned, refunds will normally be issued within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
Refunds will generally be made through the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.
We will not charge a refund administration fee for statutory cancellations.
12. Exchanges and Incorrect Sizes
If you have ordered the wrong size, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where the product is eligible for statutory cancellation, you may return it in accordance with the cancellation terms above and place a new order for the correct size.
For genuinely personalised products, exchanges for incorrect size selection are not automatically available unless separately agreed.
Where Atlas Compwear has supplied the wrong size or a faulty garment, we will provide the appropriate remedy under applicable consumer law.
13. Lift for Life Community organisation Merchandise
Atlas Compwear produces official Lift for Life merchandise supporting suicide prevention awareness.
Under our agreed arrangement, £10 from each qualifying £20 T-shirt sale goes to Lift for Life.
These T-shirts are standard merchandise designs produced to order.
Customers purchasing standard Lift for Life merchandise retain their applicable statutory cancellation and refund rights.
The charitable purpose of the merchandise does not remove these rights.
Where a qualifying order is cancelled and refunded, the associated charitable contribution will be handled in accordance with the signed agreement between Atlas Compwear and Lift for Life.
Customers are entitled to the legally required refund regardless of how Atlas Compwear administers contributions to the charity.
The separate delivery charge does not form part of the stated £10 contribution.
14. Delivery Problems and Lost Parcels
If your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us.
We will investigate delivery issues with the relevant courier or postal provider.
Where goods are lost, damaged or not delivered as required under the contract, Atlas Compwear will provide the appropriate remedy under applicable law.
Customers are not required to resolve disputes directly with the delivery provider before exercising their statutory rights against Atlas Compwear.
15. Event Merchandise and Competition Orders
Orders for competitions, teams, clubs and sporting organisations may involve agreed production schedules and delivery deadlines.
Where a consumer purchases standard event merchandise online, applicable consumer cancellation rights will generally apply unless a lawful exception exists.
Business-to-business orders may be governed by separately agreed commercial terms and do not normally qualify for consumer change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Where an order has been incorrectly produced or does not meet the agreed specification, the customer's applicable contractual and statutory remedies remain available.
16. Items Purchased Through Other Organisations
Where Atlas Compwear is the seller of merchandise purchased through our website, Atlas Compwear is responsible for administering applicable cancellations, returns and refunds.
If an order was placed directly with another retailer, organisation or event operator acting as the seller, customers should contact that seller in the first instance.
We will make reasonable efforts to clarify responsibility where necessary.
17. Your Statutory Rights
This policy is intended to operate consistently with UK consumer legislation, including:
The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces rights that cannot legally be limited.
Where there is any conflict between this policy and mandatory consumer legislation, the applicable law takes precedence.
18. Changes to This Policy
Atlas Compwear may update this Returns & Refunds Policy to reflect changes in our business practices, products or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on our website.
Updates will not retrospectively remove rights attached to existing purchases.
19. Model Cancellation Form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from an eligible contract.
